His older sister Wendi Willits played basketball at Arkansas and also played for the L.A. Sparks in the WNBA. Pretty good athletic family out of tiny Ft. Cobb.

I remember seeing her in HS, one of the only girls who could shoot a legit 3-point JUMP shot. Yes, she actually jumped then released the shot in the air.

Which reminds me, speaking of the Angels, someone who was in my high school graduating class played very briefly for the Angels, Marquis Riley, an outfielder that played for the University of Central Arkansas. He got called up to The Show by the then-California Angels during the 1993 season but never got into a game and was quickly sent back down to the minors, never to make it back up again. But at least he had that sip of coffee.

yea: he said it sure is sweet he would be happy shaging balls up there. He will get sent down though he's up due to a injury.
