Yeah that sign got nixed pretty quickly. Pretty sure they weren't aware of its significance and made it just because if sounded cool.
who in Oklahoma doesn't know the Trail of Tears? that big of a sign, it takes like 7 losers just to hold it. none of them thought it might be a bad idea?
Article on Newson6 said OSU marked the tweet of this sign as "Favored". When the backlash started they issued a statement saying they don't condone it. Which is it Pokes?
Put them on a national stage, give them some media attention and they inevitably find a way to show the entire country what a bunch of goozlers they are. It's the Cowboy way.
That sign might have bothered my ancestors but I just laugh at 'little aggie' ignorance. They'll find out what their made of tonight...I don't think they get blown out.
