Did anything ever come of this rumored BYU press conference? I'm deeply worried that BYU was going to announce its move to the Big XII, but then was supersceded by Mizzou announcing its move to basically end the Big XII.

Meh, OSU regents decided that their president could explore other conferences too, even after the Pac 12 said "not taking anyone new." So, perhaps it's just a red herring to make UT stop pursuing high school highlights on their damn network.

 

I've NEVER had a problem finding a drink in Utah after many, many trips there. And as far as wimmens, I always brot my own.

I think BYU is about as good a candidate as we can get. They bring a pretty good TV market, and they are a somewhat prestigious program.

Assuming Mizzou stays: Put BYU and WVU in the conference, along with a South Florida or TCU, and I'd say that's viable.

If Mizzou goes, I say take what we can get somewhere OUTSIDE of what remains of our current conference.
