Hated to see him go down like that in what is likely the last football game he will ever play. Hope nothing for the best for him moving forward.

The wounded warrior was a good one and had a ton of heart.

    Good luck to Adrian!

He would have had a stellar year if not for the injuries. I wish him the best

I was headed down out of my seats in the North EZ yesterday when he went down and I stopped at the monitor to watch them cart him to the lockeroom. I was praying for the best and then they said he'd hurt the same ankle. I really felt sick for him. Prayers his way.

Hard to believe he came back as soon as he did after the bowl game injury. Tough dude.

    Hate to see this happen.

Thanks for all you have given to the program, AT!

The only positive is McFarland will get more playing time...

    Beal after the game:
He looked good on Saturday. Sometimes he seems like a guy who doesn't know how to use his size and strength. GH talked a lot about how he became a different person when he stepped on the field. I think McFarland is still learning how step into that killer mentality. I expect big things from him the rest of the year.

Probably extra stress on that leg due to the injury on the other leg. What a gamer, though. Major props to AT.

Should also have Casey Walker back too.

Ugh.....can a torn achilles be fixed, rehabbed, or is that career ending?

It can be fixed, but the rehab is long. He won't be playing any football for about a year.

They will probably give him a nice boot though.

Feel real bad for him. :(

Hope for nothing but the best for him. He did what he was called on to do and did it with style and dedication.

A side point: can anyone with access to the training staff get them to ditch the grandma cart they wheeled him off the field in? I mean, it's bad enough to get a serious injury, but then to get taken off in that glorified Big Wheel is insult on top.

Sad to see him ending his OU career this way.
