We will never be able to adequately thank President Boren for what he has done for the University of Oklahoma. He has been the visionary we needed to bring us to the level we are now. Molly has also left an indelible mark on campus with her insistence that everything about the landscaping should be inspirational as well as beautiful. The fact that he is loved equally by both faculty and the student body is its own tribute to his warmth and care for all things OU.
Not getting us out of this failing conference has been disappointing. Letting texsux destroy and pillage shows a sign of weakness. This conference needs to rebuild or just dismantle and be done with it.
true. But Im sure you realize his leadership has done for the University goes 10000 miles further than football and the big 12 athletic conference. He'll be missed
Its funny how hard he campaigned for that 1 cent sales tax increase last year for education and it failed. Then it came up again for non-education matters earlier this year and the tax passed overwhelmingly (without his help).
