Once again... Huge national audience, big game to start the season... All eyes watching, media and fans alike. Our coaches lay the biggest egg, that as the announcers said, "everyone will be talking about, all season." Once again, we play chump, to making someone else look all-world. Now, watch Houston lose 2-3 games this year, make the loss even more embarrassing. So happy, I'm not watching this game in public, or with anyone else, at all. Simply pathetic.
And you have to love the polls. They drop us ELEVEN spots, for losing to a ranked team, in their backyard. A team, that went 13-1 last year, and beat another Top 10 team to close out the year. Unranked texas plays out of their minds, barely beats a lower ranked team, than us... and they leapfrog us? Houston and texas better keep winning, otherwise we don't stand a chance of getting back to the playoffs. They literally just moved anyone, and everyone that won their games, and was sniffing the polls, past us.
Yep, again. National TV bright lights and OU is missing chip shot FGs, playing no defense, Baker reading the headlines before they're written and a total whoppin'. The only thing missing is stupid penalties but it's early.
Out-manned tonight, hopelessly. The only criticism to be levelled is the failure to recruit these past several years. The Big 12 has become a third-world conference. We are years away from competing at the highest level.
Joe Mixon, Samaje Perine, Mark Andrews, Westbrook, Alvarez, Brown and Samia all great talents. Defense is definitely not where it has been in the past talent wise but no reason to get blown out by Houston & Ohio State (who returned next to no one from last year)
