that is politics and Sooner football..... 38 years ago on a hot August night in the high plains of Eastern Colorado a lovely young woman said "I do" when her preacher father asked "Do you take this man to be your husband?" Absolutely the greatest day of my life, until my kids came along! Reflection on happiness, excitement, unabashed love and wonderment on what lay ahead....all these years later, I was right and so damned lucky! August 27, 1977, what a red letter day...... Boomer!!!!
Fandayumtastic Yesterday I wrote 2 checks . Looked at the date went all WTF that date is something! Took me awhile to remember that was My 1st Ex bitches an I anniversary !:cheerful:
well...a day or two late...but Congrats Rock. It's a test of time. I wish I had made a better choice the first time. I'm thankful for my 2 kids. I admire those (my parents) that have stayed together because of their vows and even more those that continue to grow with their spouse and truly love each other. Someday...not sure I'll make 30yrs of bliss...51 now and won't marry for another yr or two. CONGRATS!
