That building is a police barracks now. I was in Chicago a few years back and saw it. Still looks the same though...except no Shermer High School.
It also houses the Illinois Lottery claims office, along with several other state offices. We have a secret office there, too. In the basement, in one of the display cases, they have a lot of memorabilia from the movie.
