Khan Academy

Saw this on 60 minutes tonight. Bill Gates has helped this guy fund teaching many subjects for free via the Internet. Amazing idea IMO. My kids are doing this and I'm going to start using it to refresh myself and maybe even further my own education a bit more. He's very easy to follow and you kind of work things out with him as you go.

That was a pretty good story. Wish I knew a motivate student to steer toward it.

That Khan had cheesy grits this morning.

 

My daughter was looking for a tutor for HS chemistry, a subject about which I know dick. She looked up a video, said, "This is awesome!" and that was that.

Highly recommended.
