Also, Damn the injury bug in the MNC games. Colt and Demarco being out really hurt both teams as the Big 12 probably brings home 2 championships in place of the SEC

 

This is true, but it's part of the game. Somebody in another conference needs to step up. Or the other conferences need to embrace over signing and over paying

 

That's the only success Jones will have in his stadium

 

It's hard to step up when the MNC game is kept between 2 SEC teams.

The Big 12 is now 1-8 vs. the SEC head-to-head in the Cotton Bowl over the last 9 games. That doesn't include our losses to Florida/LSU, Texas' loss to Alabama, A&M's losses to Arkansas this year and last, etc, etc.

Since the Cotton Bowl changed its tie-ins in 1999, the SEC is 9-5 against the Big XII. The SEC has dominated the past 10 years with an 8-2 record. Arkansas (with 3 NFL Tailbacks) didn't really show up in 2007 and Texas & TFRW beat LSU in 2003.
