That is debatable. Her net impact on society was negative if only one impressionable young girl decided to give heroine/meth/krokodile/whatever a try because Winehouse glorified it. I would prefer a stack of dead Amy Winehouse's to a generation of girls getting hooked on smack. And also her music was awful.
I laughed, hell I'm still laughing. Drugs are dangerous, they've been telling people that longer than she was alive. I'm sure she had a mirror and can see the toll it was taking on her. Anyways, the joke was funny to me.
You weren't in the Austin Box Fan Club either. The differences IMO are night and day but I find it easier to laugh at DC's joke as I think it has a real good chance of being closer to 100% true than some of the things said about Austin. It's kind of different when you have one set of Parents that had no reason to believe their kid had a problem as opposed to Parents that had approached their child about how she wanted them to handle her Funeral, her will and any other post mortum needs she might want them to attend to. Maybe money and a really good PR Team is the difference? I'm not trying to make you a bad guy...I'm just trying to show why one deserved a bit of leniency after death than the other. You can speculate all you want as Amy's quick unclear death seemed to get a quicker pass than Austin's and there is a whole lots less people that would believe Amy was sober when she died.
Internet prayers, internet outrage, both meaningless. This aint real life. I'm not a big fan of the 4chan style coarseness but what are you going to do? Besides dark or black humor is healthy for many.
Hey back off Hitler. He may have killed 6 million Jews, but he single-handedly saved the History Channel...
