    1) DL the Pandora Ap to your phone or iPod
    2) Create a Lynyrd Skynyrd / Led Zepplin / Black Sabbath etc. station. (Or create one each for you fav artists)
    3) Play through your car's Bluetooth, if possible. Or play through iPod dock

Southern rock won't cut it on a drive through the Northwest. Gotta go with something that's bluesy funky pop grunge. Something that makes you want to reach out and celebrate the trees and the mountains.

Rolling Stones - Hot Rocks 1964-1971 It's a two volume set with the biggest songs of those years.

Good luck, I don't think I could drive that far without my satellite radio. Look into it. There's 4 different classic rock stations.

Yep...StoopTroup got it right! And if you can bare it, play a ukelele song on your way. Jake Shimabakuru plays some amazing Zeppelin.

For that drive, you will need a large dose of Grace Slick and Paul Kantner. Get Kantner's Planet Earth Rock and Roll Orchestra album, and Sunfighter, as well. Yes' Close to the Edge(Down by the River)

Melissa Ethridge's first album is pretty good, too. Her guitar made me want to chop down all the trees while stuck in mountain construction traffic.
