You can really tell that Renfro (the one from last night) is a different pitcher today. She's still pretty darn good, but clearly playing fatigued.

 

I know Gascoign hasn't played as many games as Ricketts, but to have a 0.00 ERA at this point in the season speaks volumes about her ability.

 

I got to see her pitch against little aggie the last weekend of the season.
Her changeup looks like a big fat balloon, drifting in when you see it from behind plate. Of course, you've swung at it three times by the time it gets to the plate.

 

To be specific, I think that her ERA is 0.091

the plate....wotta changeup!!!!!

 

Great win! Good job girls making the school and state proud.

One a side note, someone needs to tell that announcer that softballs/baseballs fly further in humid air than dry air. Humidity is caused by water vapor which is less dense than dry air. It might feel thick and sticky (most likely because you have a film of sweat on you) but it isn't thicker. If she would have said that once I would have let it go but I heard her say it at least 3 times.
