HEY! Thanks for the link. If you live in Europe, you can neither pay for tickets, nor do PPV. But you do have to deal with 1am kickoff. Either way, I really appreciate the link.
This is a game that wouldn't be anywhere near a TV if it wasn't for PPV. I have not pulled the trigger yet, but when push comes to shove on Saturday afternoon I will probably be making the call. I traveled from Arizona to Tallahassee to see them, $40 seems like a bargain.
I'm stuck at home tomorrow night with the kid, so joining the Sooner Club in Denver isn't an option...does anyone know if Comcast is picking up the PPV option? Otherwise, it'll be a radio game for me.
(in my best Mack Brown voice) I'll answer that one for Chris.... Dish Network does not have any interest in catering to sports fans, because they think sports programming is too expensive, so they take the minimalist approach to anything sports related they offer. They dropped ESPN News in HD and can't work out a deal with ABC/ESPN to get ESPN-U in HD, and now they are threatening to pull all the ESPN channels when the contract is up. If this happens, I will walk after 16 years with them. There are some channels my wife watches that aren't in HD on Direct TV, but that is the breaking point for me and she's going to just have to suck it up.
I figure it is worth $35.00 to get the game, cheaper than getting up there and going to it and I remember the days when there was only two games a season on TV. I also know a lot of Whorn fans who would have preferred the Rice game had been on PPV since none of them can get the LHN.
