and 3 of those (hi and low hits should not have been fouls, but the blind high hit they put on stills wasnt, go figure)
loved the D and really liked how LJ stepped up at the end. His 3rd down pass to Broyles just before the bomb to Stills just shows how much he has matured. Looking Good, BABY!~
Mad props to the D!! This D has championship written all over it. Oh.. and T-Lew thanks for coming out, bro.
Wasn't much a fan of the elbow to the helmet of Stills early in the game but the officiating crew thought otherwise.
Wort needs to involve the hands more in his tackling tecnique a bit more especially against larger sized ball carriers like the tight end.
Thanks, cvsooner. "The Hammer" comes thru again. Travis Lewis seemed to be pretty healthy. Might've not been top form, but he was pretty darn active. Wort did well. Hell, they all played lights out. That was an old fashioned slobber knocker. The Sooners came to play. The D was fearsome, although a few blown coverages. The Offense did what they had to do. The 4Q long pitch & catch Jones to Stills was incredible. FSU has a good team. That was a helluva test & the Sooners passed.
Stoops ****ting a brick. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/d0iMVEgUm_U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Guys, this was Oklahoma football tonight... nasty D and trying to pound the ball. The offense was lethargic, but they did enough to put the dagger in FSU!!
Absolutely agree Sooner70. The defense held the #5 team in the nation to 1 offensive touchdown. A great night for the defense.
The line judge on OU's sideline was absolutely terrible. There were at least 3 times in the game where the fsu de was almost a full stride before the ball was snapped and never a flag. At least a half dozen balls mis-marked by at least a yard and one by 2 yards. Whoever the lead b12 official is needs to review that film and suspend him. He was absolutely terrible. He is also the one who threw the second procedure flag on the punt in the end zone and Stoops gave him an earfull. Absolutely horrendous officiated game by that crew.
Dunno if anyone here was watching the espn chat during the game but something kinda strange happened after Wort's big interception following Shaw getting knocked out of the game. And you know, it did kinda remind me of that int he made vs Nebraska.
I only noticed it once and it was in the 4th quarter. I was screaming at the TV thinking it was a free play but no flag. Unbelievable.
