Anyone besides me enjoy the fact that Adam Scott won with Stevie Williams on the bag in Tigers return?
I think it's a bit over-rated. A caddy, even the best of them like Williams, is not going to have a huge impact on the score their player posts. I do think a good caddie is important for younger guys that haven't played a lot of the courses on tour yet. It's good to have someone who knows the layout of the course well, and in those instances it can be helpful. But for older guys that have been around and see the same courses over and over, the caddie becomes less of a factor. I don't know why Williams was so upset, it's not like he had been making a whole lot of money with Woods lately anyhow.
Makes you wonder how bad Scott had been at picking caddies beforehand. Williams has a right to be upset depending on which version of his firing you believe.
