I'm not a big fan of rap music. But one the songs they are playing before the games at the stadium will not leave my head. Before I ask this I must let you know that I have a Boomer Sooner ringtone and I know what AD stands for. Who sings or what is the name of the Na Na Na Na Hey Hey rap song they have been playing in pre-game warm-ups? Thanks! Boomer!

You aren't speaking of "Rock & Roll Part 2" by Gary Glitter are you? Not a rap song necessarily, but its use now pays the legal bills for Mr. Glitter while he is in extended stay in Vietnam for child sexual abuse charges.

After his fiasco the NFL banned the playing of that song for all teams. They shouldn't play that song anywhere as far as I'm concerned. I don't remember hearing at the OU game.

I just went to I tunes and listened to that Gary Glitter crap.

That is not it. It is a rap song with long drum beats.

The Dallas Stars play the Gary Glitter song whenever the Dallas Stars score a goal.

The players choose the pregame music, fwiw.

Join the team and have a say in the music choice! ;)

I like the song. I want to download it on the MP3 for the gym. I just don't know the name of it.

I'll stick to my prog metal and classic metal, but hey - if it pumps up the players, I'm all for it!

Wagner,'Ride of the Valkyries'. Plus it would be way cool to see what the stadium speakers could do with some truly BIG sound.....
Best on a sleety date later in the season, though. Something good and Viking.
Worth a shot.

ah,,,,Wagner would be awesome! Or, to satisfy both ends of my musical taste, some Wagner with a segue into some older Metallica or some heavier Dream Theater or Fates Warning. Unfortunately, if the players are picking we have to wait 17 or so years until my son is a starter to hear something like that!
