I guess when your palms are that hairy you don't need a glove.

I can't believe I completely missed this thread.

It was a rather mundane tournament, for me at least. As for the first day 80, I really want that peeved about it, considering I doubled THREE of the par threes...cause I'm smart like that. It's easy to post a 5 when you chunk-fat it into the water. I was 7 over on the par 3's Friday. Played the rest of the course ok, and I was only 7 back after the first day. But i just never had a swing I could trust. I mean, it was ok, I was getting it around, but it wasn't what I wanted it to be. That and I spent two weeks on nothing but my full swing-trying to find it, and I didn't practice my short game at all.

Saturday's round was indifferent....they had aerated their greens and I made NOTHING on the greens.

Sundays round was actually a pretty good round. I started off the round 3 over in the first 2 holes, then settled down and played pretty well, it was really windy Sunday and the greens at the club were glass....very tough conditions. I posted the 2nd best score of the Sunday rounds.

Oh well, I'll give it another shot next year if I can qualify.

I'm playing in the OGA Club Championship next month at Tulsa Country Club, I hear it's sweet but the rules stipulate no practice rounds so I don't really know what to expect.

I could still beat Pat with one hairy palm tied behind my back.

I vote we all get hammered and go cheer Hairy on to victory.

sweet, I could have a Tiger-like gallery. It's a team event, but it's stroke play so I could still have a gallery. :D

and no, 'stroke-play' was not a reference to Howzit's shorts.

TCC is not that tough. Curvy but not long.
Hit driver over the tree on the right on #1 and you've got a wedge into the green.
Iron off the tee on 2. Stay right off the tee on 3. It's not that tight on many holes. I like it. A lot a lot.
16 is a goofy hole, just don't be too far right off the tee. It's like an S dogleg.

Aim @ the BOK off the tee on 18. I could get some more tips off Camden's step Grandad. He's an old school member.
