wow...that ND oline is solid

I'm not giving little Jimmy props or anything, but that o-line is awful. Both tackles were getting beaten on almost every play.

I hate to say it, but I doubt Joe Montana himself could do much with an O-line that porous. He had no time at all in the pocket. Seems like Michigan was in his face before he could even complete a 3-step drop. Almost makes you wonder if Clausen is not well-liked by his teammates.

As bad as that looks, it's hard to look very good when your offensive line blocks like the French.

Blech.

Brings back painful memories of TCU.

Looks like that QB coach he's had since seven never taught him when the get rid of the ball.

The best was when all 4 DL's met him at the same time. Unbelievable.

Through three games their best rushing total is ZERO yards against Penn State.

You'd think we'd hesitate to make fun of a strugg-a-ling freshman QB sporting #7 that has no O-line. Aw hell, it's Notre Dame.

man.. like a lamb led to the slaughter...

i was watching espn earlier and it quoted charlie weis as saying:

"I didnt become crummy over night, the staff didnt become crummy over night, and the players didnt become crummy over night."

So have they always been crummy or what is he trying to say? Someone evaluate...

I love the Benny Hill music.

I was thinking that, too. How appropriate.

As much as I hate the Domers, that was brutal.

Jimmy Clausen can't win the Heisman... Adarius Bowman, Bobby Reid and Dantrell Savage are going to split it. "You can't give a Heisman to two schools, that's just retarded." :D

Remember when he said he was going to play for four National Championships at Notre Dame? Heh.

Don't forget, he was "the Lebron James of high school football" that has to count for something.

Why couldn't we have played them this year? I know the SOS would have taken a hit, but I would have rather played the Domers instead of Utah State. We beat Aggie schools all the time, but throttling ND would be something special.

It was like the O line wasn't even on the field for that snap. :D

Most of those sacks are not his fault. His Oline is terrible.

Phil Loadholt could stand up and block better than those five!

even if notre dame had our line i still think they'd still be closer to 0-3 than 3-0...

but, maybe thats just me...

Hey, I just had a unique and totally original thought:

It's not his fault. His O-line is terrible.

I think my favorite part was during the high snap for a fumble when the ticker at the bottom rolled over for another sooner score.

While I agree that charlie Weiss laying down along the LOS would make for better blocks, I really think the team as a whole is inept.

And I also think that's one of the greatest things to happen in the history of sports...a domer team that no one can defend in any way, shape, or form without looking retarded to even the domer fans.

Indeed. In fact, I feel like bronzing the whole thing, Weis, his inept team, the stadium. That's it! Maybe we could just pour a ginormous vat of molten bronze over their entire stadium and preserve them as a memorial to the crappiest football team in all history.
People could bring their children for generations to come, walk solemnly around, looking at Weis's belly (rubbed shiny by generations of the superstitious attempting to leave their loserdom with him) and fathers could intone, "By all that is holy, son, never, NEVER sink to the level of a Notre Dame football player."
If such came to pass, I might be tempted to believe in natural justice again.

Wow. The ND coaching staff should be ashamed of themselves.

Well ... I guess Heisman talk isn't totally silly ... we know he already has Beano Cook's vote. ;)

Hey guys...this year will do two things for him. 1. Make him stronger then ever and one of the best QB's to ever come out of the NCAA. or 2. Kill him due to blunt force trauma to the head and body.
