Seemed like an appropriate use of force -- if you're a cop who wants to be on the receiving end of a multimillion dollar lawsuit.

Man, that was great! Nothing quiet as fun as watching a hippie get pwned by a tazer. Well, that and a prairie dog getting shot in the head from 300 yards.

A university student with a history of taping his own practical jokes was Tasered by campus police and arrested after loudly and repeatedly trying to ask U.S. Senator John Kerry questions during a campus forum.

Andrew Meyer, 21, spent a night in jail before his release Tuesday morning. His attorney, Robert Griscti, did not return messages seeking comment.

Videos of the Monday night incident, posted on several Web sites and played repeatedly on television news, show officers pulling Meyer away from the microphone after he asks Kerry about impeaching President Bush and whether he and Bush were both members of the secret society Skull and Bones at Yale University.

taze the hippie one more time as he leaves jail. Surprise taze. Kerry should hire some people to show up at his job or job interviews and disrupt him.

Too bad the tazing didn't make him **** his pants...

You know what they didn't show on TV was how many times they asked him to sit down and give John Kerry the chance to respond. Free speech is one thing, but willfully disrupting a public meeting because you "feel" you have the right is another thing. Yes, you have the right to ask a question and get that question answered, but you don't have the right to disrupt the whole meeting and ruin it for everyone else. When they were escorting him out, I thought he was really making a scene. He could have avoided being tazed if he just would have left. Also, how convenient to have two or three people hanging around with their video cameras, and how "odd" that it was posted on websites less than 15 minutes after it happened. Yes, the police were really stupid in how they handled him, but come on, people do not have the right to turn a public meeting into a circus sideshow.

Apparently that guy has a background of disrupting public meetings. I think they said on the radio he protested the release of the last Harry Potter book

I know it hurts to get tazed but he's the first one I've heard scream like a beyonce the way he did.
If you're going to scream give it the old Braveheart Freedom!!!!! not the porn star orgasm scream.

I hope they putting a hurting to his wallet, then maybe he'll grow up. Seriously who cares if Kerry and Bush were Skulls or whatever.

It looks like he thinks it's humorous...

I bet they settle out of court on this one...

I've seen 4 people get tased by the cops (in person) and everytime, the cops always have a grin on their face and/or repeatedly tazer after the perp is already subdued and cuffed.

What is it they say? 99.7%...

Let's see... file civil rights action against poeleece officers...
Acquire policies and procedures manual on use of tasers...
Review videotape.
Note use does not comply with policies and procedures...

City writes check for $300,000.
I get 40%.
