Me too.

Sure am glad it's an early game so the students don't have a lot of time to get riled up.

The Wife and I have a new yearly tradition of traveling for 1 distant away game.

2005: Nebraska - 11:00 am
2006: Missouri - 11:00 am
2007: Colorado - 11:30 am

but, we're 2-0. :D

Yeah, I should have typed fly. We always go to Baylor, OSU and A&M. the north teams are harder to get to and back in a weekend cheaply.

Booked ahead and got our tickets on American fro DFW to Denver for $184 each. :D

I've never been to Boulder, how bad is the parking situation? Should we just hang out after the game and take in the scene? Frankly, I'm glad it's an early start -- longer time to celebrate victory after the game!

Park on top of some hippies. They won't notice.

How do you know I'm not a hippy? or a hippy sympathizer?

Doesn't matter if you're a hippie, he doesn't care.

But I assume that even hippies eat, so is it worth it to stay up in Boulder until dinner time?

Parking map (http://ucbparking.colorado.edu/Maps/Images/CampusParkingMapMain.pdf)

Come to the campus at least a couple of hours before kickoff (earlier if you can) if you want to be assured of a tailgating spot. The visiting fans' tailgating areas are Lot #470 (extreme south end of campus next to the law school) and Lot #436 (east side of campus on at Colorado and Regent). Cost is $20.00 (more if you have an RV).

What Casino?
Blackhawk (http://www.blackhawkcolorado.com/)/Central City (http://www.centralcitycolorado.com/) is 40 miles from Boulder. Just be careful on the Central City Raceway heading to I-70, the speed limit is absurdly low and they write a bunch of tickets on it. The road from Boulder is nice, Boulder Falls is a nice place to stop along the way.

If the Broncos would have had a home game the same weekend instead of playing in Indy, we would be going. My wife really enjoyed the OU-KU game at Arrowhead and the Chiefs-Skins game the next day. We got a real cheap flight/hotel/rental car package on Travelocity with a direct flight from Austin, it was under $500 for the both of us. Instead we are coming up for the Mizzou game.

Good. Early start, less time for them to get into "Game of Their Life" Mode.
Stoops is 7-1 the week before Texas, so a "look ahead" is not likely.

Can we expect the Colorado fans to show us the universal "You're Number 1" sign they showed FSU last weekend? :pop:

I hate early games...I'm in Pacific time and it really sucks being to drunk to watch the rest of the games. And the bigger the asskicking we lay down the bigger the buzz I've got, so I hope there aren't many good games later that day! Colorado should feel like a high school opponent after the powerhouses we've faced compared to them!
