ABC has no game listed for the 11 AM slot. That leads me to believe that 2:30 is a virtual certainty.

I know this question has nothing to do with this thread.

I was wondering if there will be RV parking around the stadium or will I have to find another spot to park and sleep. I have heard that you should never park an RV at the state fair but it would suck to move it everytime we left the fair.

Seeing as LSU and Florida play on this day, and there is a NASCAR race, and we have the Big XII by its short hairs.....We have decided that this year OU/Texas will be played at 6:30am est. Friday morning

i'd rather have the Saturday night game on ABC slot, but I've heard LSU/UF is going to be a night game. They don't want to schedule the 2 games opposite of each other.

I have nothing to add to this thread. I just want to say that I hate people like sendbaht who get up early "just because."

No offense to you personally, sendbaht. It just takes me 1-2 hours before I can get rolling. Morning people aggravate me.

I believe about the time colt starts shaking uncontrollably, Mack starts clapping, Bevo starts crapping all over the place, and the whorn fans start yelling unconvincingly the game will start.

As long as I'm able to go to the game I hope it's NEVER a 7:00PM kickoff. I would not want to be in that area leaving the game @ 10:30-11:00PM.

Crap. A 2:30 start time means it will be regional coverage only, right? I'll probably get stuck with McNeese St @ Northwestern or some such nonsense.

Yes, but OK2LA posted 10:00 am est. hence, it would indeed be 7:00 am pst. However, I believe we will all be on daylight rather than standard time on Oct. 6.

Have you ever been to a game? The South Oak Cliff, Fair Park area is not necessarily where you want to be late at night.

One is ABC and the other CBS, they schedule games opposite of each other all the time.

I have been to concerts at the Starplex (or whatever it is called now) and went to the free Garth Brooks show after the 1990 OU-Texas game and never had any issues. We bought a 12-pack beer between the game and the show, gave the leftovers to the old guys "watching" the lot (outside of the fairgrounds) and they were sitting by the car when we got back after the show and thanked us again for the beer.

That said, a night game will not happen as long as it is at Fair Park, it will once it is moved to JerryWorld.

I think they should start having 8 a.m. games. Less Corco, more fooseball!

OU/texas would be a perfect time to start :D

Hope you're not hung over...

****. I knew it. 55% of the country (http://www.soonersports.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/100107aaa.html) gets OU/Texas, and I'll get the Big 10++ Crapfest of the Week. Iowa at Penn State--if the over/under is in double digits, take the under. Showing that game outside of the Des Moines and Pittsburgh markets should be banned under the Geneva Convention.
