Why even discuss this match up? OU is going to KILL Texas.

Speculation is pointless. It isn't even going to be an interesting contest.

Mack needs to start on non solid foods and realize he is in for five or six consecutive seasons of losing to OU.

Thank God the underdog has never won in the series.

I'll be there for the fifth consecutive year and I'm sure I'll be yawning the entire game.

BORING!

I've watched 15-15, 63-14, and 65-12.

Didn't yawn through any of them.

I'll be there for the 17th consecutive year and LOVING it. Especially since I'll be sitting in the Texas section (again). Although, I have to point out, OU has never lost when I sit in the Texas section (2001, 2002, 2003). It's a lock! ;)

There's nothing boring about dismantling the orange cow no matter how bad they are.

that game could end in a 112-0 rout of Saxet and there would be absolutely nothing boring about it.

Enough about Saxet though, I want to focus on Tulsa for now.

To quote Adrian Peterson's commercial, "I am Goliath." OU wins big this year.

65-12? Was that in the 50's?

I deducted a point from UT for making me almost yawn.

Thank God the underdog has never won in the series.

Not that it is relevant to this year, but right off the top of my head I remember you guys coming in at 0-4 and us at 4-0 and you won. I wish I could remember another one. (especially one in our favor)

Oh, yeah...sarcasm. Sorry. Feeling kind of literal right now.

I wont bother looking them up, but it happens fairly often in the series for the underdog to come out with the victory.

Don't get me wrong.......I fully expect to win, but I don't like to act like it's a foregone conclusion.

I have been to so many of these games and despite prior play you cannot predict the outcome of OU-TX.....ever.....ever...ever....evar....

Yeah, we oughtta wait until the week of the game and until then talk only about our next opponent.

THEN we can get down to the business of stating the obvious fact that we're gonna kick their asses so bad Bevo quits.

Texas is completely capable of beating Oklahoma this year in Dallas.

The RRS has no rules....you walk into the half-and-half stadium and you enter the twilight zone. Nothing makes sense.

The only fatal flaw is total hubris.

As long as we aren't irresponsible like we were last year.

We outgained Tejas by 101 yards last year and still lost the game! I can't recall, but had something in the order of 6 penalties, too. I'd have to go look at my media guide, but didn't we turn the ball over, also? (coffee isn't kicking in yet this a.m.-sorry)

I hope that Stoops and the boys work on getting zero penalaties in this one and ball control. If so, we should kick their butts, you're right. The only one's I think who can beat us in this year's match are ourselves.

Not to rub salt in the wound but wasn't that John Blake's first ever win?

I know for certain that TX was the favorite in 2000 also... maybe 2001 as well.

If Texass plays like they've been playing the past few games, it's not gonna be pretty for them.

Now, if they play to their POTENTIAL (which we all know Mack has rarely ever seen outta ANY of his players), then we could be in for a good game.

If I didn't want us to beat texass as a matter of the normal course of universal events, this would be enough to warrant the azzkicking:

I know you can't blame an entire fanbase or message board for the disgusting action of one POS, but even his own peeps oughtta beat the crap out of him for that one. In all my 48 years, I'd never even think of insulting someone else that way. Anyone not a terrorist, that is. That photo to me is way past anything decently human. I'm horrified beyond belief.

If Bob Stoops is Oswald...

Mack must have been riding in a convertible Lincoln with Bevo.
