Then suddenly it hits me: NOT a SINGLE OU highlight. Barely even a mention!!!

I mean honestly, if any other player from any other team, even east sheep humping state, had had a 92-yard run for a score, it would have been all over the highlights!

and we get NOTHING!!!

I even asked Mr. Gal if I had missed something, even though I was sitting there the whole time, and he agreed: no Sooners highlights.

well i think ESPN has a rule that stipulates that on Michigan-ND gameday, that game's highlights have to be allcoated 50% of the highlight time no matter how bad the teams are

I got up this morning and started reading the recaps of the games on the internet. The USuC gushing is incredibly nauseating.

I saw our guys on a five-second preview of a wrap-up. The announcer mentioned the high score and something about us taking care of business again. Like we were a filler before commercial break.

I figured I was missing the films and recaps because I'm on the East Coast.

USC is clearly ESPN's favorite team, and that's ok. We've been there before. But after we beat a Miami team last week (who wasn't ranked) we were on the front page of a lot of sites and had a lot of stories written about us. And that was during a week that LSU beat a ranked VT team badly.

This week we played a bum, LSU played a bum, ND got polesmoked, and USC badly beat a ranked historic program after looking only decent against Idaho two weeks ago. What are the media outlets supposed to talk about if they don't talk about USC/Nebbish?

Relax, I felt the same way after week 1, but took a chill pill. I would have liked to see the Patrick and Murray home runs, but I'm sure the ppv limited the highlights.

I would have thought, though, that Bradford would get some mention about another outstanding performance.

At this point, the less people see prior to RRS, the better. I hope to see another "shock the nation" performance like the Miami blow out.
