What's the best breakfast for a HS junior on game day? He's the "go to" wide receiver and safety, and he's 6'4", 175 lbs.

Yes, I realize I'm risking the health and safety of my own child by asking here.

Chuck Norris’ breakfast, lunch, and dinner is a bowl of raw meat, door knobs and human fingers. If it's good enough for Chuck, it's good enough for your kid. :)

when my daughter was in training for soccer, she wasnt' allowed to eat dairy or have any soda before the game..also, no candy or ice cream or anything like that...the coaches didn't want them eating anything too heavy the day of a game but definitely have a good meal with carbs - but not too many carbs or they get sluggish

I'm thinkin last night?

Looks like the price of Tripe has skyrocketed. Too bad I didn't stock up.

Wait....oh yeah, I hate tripe.

What time is the game?

This coming Friday night, it's at 7, but most of them are Saturday at 1. They have a team dinner where they eat mountains of spaghetti and meatballs the night before the game, but I was curious about breakfast. Thanks.

it seriously doesn't matter. Just have him eat what he normally does. His practices are probably harder on his body than a game is.

If he can make it through a practice during the week and be fine he doesn't need to do anything special for game days.

and ditto what AlbqSooner said. :P

Thanks, All (except AlbqSooner:P)

His favorite breakfast is 8 scrambled eggs, whole wheat pancakes with maple syrup, a bowl of oatmeal, half a pound of bacon, slices of ham, grapes, canteloupe, and a quart of o.j. I guess it's working.

Remember eating like that and burning it all off before lunch?

six pack of beer, a bacon, egg, sausage, ham, bacon, and bacon sandwich with some french fries, head of lettuce and some mayo.
