So tomorrow I'll be takin my 5 year old boy to his first sooner game.. I haven't seen him this excited in a long time.

We will be in section 40 if anyone will be close.

Excellent. Tell him we're proud of him, and hope he has a GREAT time. Get him anything he wants from the stands, and load him down with memorabilia. He'll remember it for the rest of his Sooner life. Oh, and get pictures. You'll remember that for the rest of yours.

That's awesome! I can't wait to take my son to his first OU game, though living in Vegas will make it a little tough. I WILL find a way though.

There's nothing better than going to a OU game with your father. Especially when dear ol dad buys all those cokes and hotdogs. mmmmgood!!!

MAke sure to be in the stands for pre-game. It starts about 20 minutes before kickoff. We still have one of the best pregames in the country.

Were goin about 2 hours early.. you know face painting and buyin stuff..

BTW.. he is bouncing off the walls

My two boys (8 and 11) and me will be next door in section 38! Hope you and the son have an awesome time! I love game day with my two little Boomers....

Look for us; we'll be wearing red. ;)

I was a little younger than 5 when I went to my first OU game in the waning years of Bud. We weren't very good then and I learned a lot of new words that I still use.:D

bring ear plugs - those fans are vicious.

Come to think of it, give him one of those foam Sooner Schooner hats to wear too. That should protect from any projectiles that may come your way :)
