Every time I start to feel sorry for them, they bleat out something like this:

http://www.orangepower.com/showthread.php?t=40538

"Let us never become our neighbors who attach their self worth to the outcome of a game."

"...but I want people to keep this thing in perspective when dealing with our a-hole brethren fans from the big 12."

Thanks for bringing me back to my senses. :stunned:

The sad thing is that this game could have been much worse for OSU. They easily could have lost by 50 and had about 10 turnovers, and I don't think I'm exaggerating.

I think Notre Dame could beat the Pokes, it's that bad.

The sad part is that somebody'll give them votes in the polls. They'll have at least 1 point in each of them.

The most amazing thing about tonight, it was raining like crazy, humid as hell, he's getting his *** kicked and Gundys hair never moves.

We need them to win enough games to keep their head coach.

Troy's team needs to go out and kick the fans off the goalposts!

My dad had the best idea:

Electrified goalposts.

I can just see a security guy sitting in the booth. "Wait for it. Let that guy climb a little higher..."

Hello Bowman!

If Bowman still has a chance at an NFL career he better go quick before these morons get him killed. His stock dropped like a rock tonight and he only has more of that to look forward to. Heisman indeed! :P

Kudos to the funniest thread I've read in a long time. Somewhere around page 20 when the drinking game started I lost it...

Troy had 96 plays on offense!!!

NCAA record for most plays against a major college: 111. Texas Tech vs Iowa St. 2003.

I love football season & I'm damn happy and proud to be a Sooner fan......

great offense my *** (unless they secretly meant who ever they were playing that week)

The reason their offense looked so good in the spring, summer drills, and the fall practices...

they were practicing against the OSU defense.

the meltdown over on orangepower is absolutely epic. my favorite post so far:

what now is that Reid and Robinson both suck...we can all see that.

and now you give Cate some snaps this week in practice...and him and the other guys compete for the position.

Yes, the 3rd string quarterback MUST be the answer to the problem!!!

Do they really know their coach sucks so bad that he named the best QB 3rd string???? LMAO

What a bunch of 'tards.

in a thread devoted to wondering whether Les Miles would ever come back (yea right)

Under Miles
2002 8-5, 1 play from beating Texas and winning the south.
2003 9-4. Cotton Bowl, Top 10 ranking
2004 7-5, Top 15 ranking, College Gameday to your place.

Reality
2002 - 14.5 plays from the national championship!! :stunned:
2003 - 9-4 Ranked #21 entering Cotton Bowl. #26 afterwards. I guess the "Top 10 ranking" was counted after their cupcake nonconference season, and not after getting their asses kicked by OU in the "Let Errrr Rip!" game
2004 - 7-5 - The highest ranking they had was #16, and then they lost. They ended the season unranked, and got spanked by tOSU in the Alamo Bowl. And the ONLY reason College Gameday came to Stoolwater is because #2 OU was in town.

These people are delirious

Yeah, but you almost have to feel sorry for 'em...All those big fat raw asses crying "not again" and "please stop".

Then again...Screw 'em! They shoulda been raised different and they'd have known better.

mmmmm...beer. That must explain my great mood too, but it's time to get to bed, dream some crimson dreams, wake up and get rolling on the traditions, and enjoy an aswhipping for the ages.

...and drink more beer

Attach my self-worth?! Hell, we could disband the entire athletic department tomorrow and I'd still think I was vastly superior to just about every single graduate in the history of that little ****hole.

And our preseason big 12 punter has used his ample opportunities tonight to overcome a shaky start into some really nice averages. Hey, I'm a lifetime, 38 year OSU fan, I'm always looking for the small victories

Unbe-freakin-lievable.

I was gone all evening and didn't get any info on the game until right now. While I wasn't expecting a blowout by any means I felt reasonably confident that they'd at least pull out a victory.

Poor Aggies... not.

OKlahoma State is an embarassment to the Big 12. They need to shut their mouth and go into hibernation for quite a while. They were unprepared, outcoached, and outplayed. On national tv. There is no justification for looking like that.

they are a sleeper they are sleeping in the basement of the B12.

This defense made Vance Bedford's defense look dominating. Of the three QB's that are better than anything OU has, well two of them look like crap. Mike Gundy is not a good coach. The coaching staff has leaked rumors that Reid is soft and won't take a hit. <---What kinda morons does it take to do that? Maybe it will help them recruit another high profile guy:rolleyes: 300 million later and right back to dead last in the B12 this morning. Heck I will start donating money to OSU if they keep Gundy, just for the laughs he provides.
