Might be on his way to a 59. Shot a 28 going out today at the Tour Championship, a par 70 course.

If I wanted it to be ignored, I'd have posted it in the Swap folder.

This is true.

Sheesh, he is playing well. Every time I check he is another stroke under par.

course is playing like darts on the greens due to rain in Georgia.

I guess there should be lots of 59s today.

Tim Clark shot 62 yesterday, i'd say conditions have something to do with it.

As they do with every round in every tournament everywhere, yes.

By all but 5 players you mean all but 5 of the top 30 in the field which are essentially the top 30 players on on the best tour, right?

Yes, rain helps scoring but it also lengthens the course.

I love how everytime someone says, "Oh, no majors for Tiger this year...is he slipping?" Counting Tiger out or saying he is a mere mortal always leads to him going on quite a run. If he just didn't have so much body fat! :)

check last year's scores in the same event. you are on a Tiger hump....don't try and be "objective" about it.

leaders are on pace to shoot -20 or better. as you say, this is the Tour Championship....not the Buick Open.

You are on a Tiger hate, all I said was he might be on his way to shooting a 59 after going out in 28.

You said it was because the course was damp.

no, i'm saying there are other factors involved that are applicable to the entire field....that is being demonstrated across the field. you hump more than i hate. i made an argument. you introduced variables that are canceled out by the scores typical to this event.

let's not do this. it's boring. OK?

in other news, I had a decent 80 yesterday @ The Oaks. 9 bogies, one bird, not shabby considering I haven't played or practiced for 2 months. I worked on keeping my right elbow closer to the body to eliminate my developing Furyk-like swing.

Also, I talked to Hairy today and he's playing in the Stillwater City Championship starting now and running through the weekend. Send all of your energy and good thoughts to Hairy in this time of need.

I did that last night after taking a bunch of his money in poker.
