As much as I'd like for it to happen, I don't think the nebbish get it done versus southern cow. All that tradition, the home crowd, the sea of red . . . it's stuff for the television cameras but it doesn't win a game.

A nebbish fan I met here in PHX told me suc-nebbish tickets were selling for $500! I don't think I would pay anywhere near that much to see the nebs get trounced by troy!

Yikes, on paper it don't look good for N, but home field advantage there is a big.

No one outside of Lincoln really thinks Nebraska has much of a shot, myself included. The only reason some people say possible upset is the way USC played against Idaho 2 weeks ago. It wouldn't surprise me to see USC come out and throttle the Huskers, something like 42-14, After that lackluster performance in the season opener, combined with LSU's dominance, the Trojans are tired of hearing why LSU should be #1. That being said, I hope Nebraska wins.

That only happens in Richardson County. Cult killings there too. Lancaster County can only claim Chuck Starkweather.

Even it is still a hope but if we can meet either LSU or USC at the NC game this year, it would definitely a payback.
