Former Texas quarterback Peter Gardere was arrested early this morning for under suspicion of driving while intoxicated in Austin.

Gardere, the only UT quarterback in history to beat rival Oklahoma four times, was released on a personal recognizance bond. Gardere was quarterback at UT from 1989-92.

It is what Peter is most remembered for. If he had discovered a cure for cancer I am sure they would have mentioned that but he has to settle for being the only Texas QB to go 4-0 against you. The fact that it is notable is a compliment to you for crying out loud.
