Stolen Bikecycle

Has anyone ever had their bike stolen and then had it recovered? Just wondering...I'm on # 2 now ....f'n hell :mad: :mad: :mad:

Well, not recovered by others, but I knew a guy that found his own stolen bike six months later chained up on the other end of campus. He called a cop, showed them the registration paper that listed the bike's serial number and the cop said "yeah, that's your bike" and cut the lock off the bike for him.

True storey
Several years back I had 3 cars stolen from My shop :mad:
Found a Bike that the the ****ers left at my shop
I contact Larry Our cop . he says Its some Foster kids Bike that was stolen before the punks stole MY cars !
Had a bad back tire so I try to fix it for the Kid !
Guess what I get negged by the foster Mom fer taking the tire apart !
I go in Meltdown Mode and our Chief tells her to STFU . I could have held the Bike , Instead I tried to fix it for the Kid
Thank God My Cop Chief Knows me :pop:

I've had a motor scooter stolen. It had two locks on it, plus I usually had a cheap crappy bike wrapped around it with another lock.

Alas, one night I took crappy bike to the library to finish a term paper. Then, I came back at like 3 a.m. and the bike was gone. They got around the U-lock by removing the seat and snipped the other chain lock.

I didn't register either, so no hope of getting them back. I hope you registered yours.

Yeah, while biking on trail in Cali. I left it for 5 min. I came back, bike is gone.
Recovered it 5 miles down the trail but have to throw it to the dump. Bike smelled like sh__t!
