Think the whorns will notice when Miami beats A&M by about three scores?

the Ags boards are busy comparing their option attack to 95 Nebraska (seriously).

I think that Miami wins by at least 10.

Did Lane toss his girlfriend down a flight of stairs or something? Because that's the only way I can see the Collie humpers having a valid point.

If A&M had any kind of passing game, I'd pick them to win, but McGee went 13/24 for 79 yards against Fresneck. They're going to need more than a bastardization of the option to beat Miami.

It'll be close, but I'll take the Canes by a TD.

I think the A&M/Miami game will be a real bellweather for both teams. As much as I'd like to see the Big XII prevail, Miami may have too much talent for fRan to counter.

I think watching my grass grow will be more entertaining than that game.

Miami will have a better D than Fresno, but don't appear as good on O. and the punter can't flip field position....so i have no idea what to think about this game.

but, as someone said above, ATM is kind of getting by on talent differential unless McGee can be effective throwing the ball on 3rd down..or keep people off balance. what's to prevent UM from stacking the line, and stop the option? we seen that before...and I don't see ATM pushing UM around.

low scoring game favors the Canes, IMO.

I think that Miami's mental state will be a huge factor. Given the Hurricanes recent struggles, I don't know if they will be ready to play on the road or how they will react if A&M gets them down early. Swagger in interviews doesn't necessarily translate to the field.

Best outcome imho is that A&M squeaks out a win. That will keep them from falling out of the rankings and also prevent any "if A&M won big, does that mean the sooners...".

Canes by 10. I predict that aggy will fumble the game away.

The only really good thing that I see coming out of this game is that it will be over quickly. Both teams are extremely one dimensional and ten passes total for both teams in the game may not be a stretch.

I say the edge goes to Miami, not because of the 500 fans that will attend there home game, but they have receivers that can actually catch the ball on occasion and get open. Of course, the QB has to be able to get it to them first.

I hope miami wrecks them, because not only do i have to live with many whorns down here, but aggies as well.

They keep claiming that Goodsen is the best in the nation and their QB is a god, or something like that. And one of my best friends is a miami fan, so hopefully his team will make up for last weeks embarrassment.....lol

Interested to see how Miami's running game works out. Could be a nice scouting venture for us.

Agg's may pull this one out. Neither team has a a great offense (edge to A&M), both can play defense especially since neither can O can throw (edge to Miami). I wonder how the big-boy Lane is going to run against the Canes. I like McGee's toughness, but I sort of hope he gets his bell rung a time or two.......
A&M 20 - 17

Their new (old) starting QB for Miami looked like he at least knew how to throw a forward pass, which I didn't see from the aTm QB. I think Miami might just man up and put 9 in the box to stop the run. If they do that, I see the Miami O being just slightly better than aTm. 20-7 Miami.

I think aggy is in dire need of a good bitch-slap. Especially because it will make whornfans.com go into meltdown mode (again).

I think we have the talent to win this game, but I don't think we have the coaching to do it. Last year we struggled against Army because of bad coaching decisions. This year we struggled against Fresno St. because of bad coaching decisions. It seems like Fran does not learn from his mistakes.

I have to give Miami the edge because of the home field advantage. That said, A&M is a team that has proven it likes to play close games -- games decided by the last play of the game. See Tech, Nebraska, OSU, Kansas and Army. We played you guys close, too (although it wasn't decided by the last play of the game).

So if we keep it close with Miami, then I think we have the edge in a nailbiter.

I predict there will be a critical 4th and 1 and the aggies will get caught with the 12th man on the field. :D
