NO, NO, NO! Flip-flops and shorts are fine for going to the neighborhood 7-Eleven or cruising around some seaside resort area. That is assuming that the rider can actually ride the bike.

i was right behind a guy on a crotch rocket that crashed a coupla summers ago. he was wearing flip flops, jean shorts, muscle shirt.

i can still hear him scream. the last three toes on his left foot were missing.
