I don't understand the reasoning behind this. Personally, I like a little privacy when someone is rubbing things all over my body. :O

1. Financial reasons: Lower overhead when you don't need to build walls, Can fit more patients in a smaller space, can watch said patients easier without more manpower.
2. CYA: A large number of malpractice lawsuits are sexually related, many of those are falsy brought. Open treatment area= everyone is right there so nobody gets away with anything like that.

I would pay extra for my physical therapy to be treated with some dignity and be afforded some privacy.
