Why isn't there the equivalent of a soccer 'red card' for field officials? Just take the damn card out, show the ignorant bum and he's gone for a game. Simple.
Except for Pac 10 officials. They shouldn't have access.
Come to think of it, Pac10 should not have officials. Just hire from a different conference each week. They've lost the right, kind of thing.
