My Saturday was a sad one

Missed attending my first home game in quite a few years. A co-worker of mine is the grandfather of the little boy that was killed by his babysitter in Weatherford, and his funeral was Sat. afternoon. I did DVR it, but I haven't been able to watch it yet. These poor folks need a lot of Sooner prayers to help them get through it.

What an unbearable tragedy for the sweet little one and all who loved him. My God gently cradle the family in His loving hands and carry them closely during this time. Prayers and strength from my family for them all.

I have a 4 month old that just started day care and this kind of news just makes me absolutely sick. God be with that family. If that ever happened to my son.......I absolutely don't know if I could make it through.....

How can anyone hurt a small child? It's really beyond me and I feel like s**t when I give one of ours a tap on the butt for getting out of line.

I know how it feels to lose a grandchild. The pain never really goes away. The fact that this child died at the hand of someone who his family trusted has to be totally devastating for them. I will put them on my prayer list wishbone. :(

This is very very sad. My prayers are with the family and all who knew that poor little boy. Babies are delicate little blessings. I pray that everyone involved in this tragedy receive God's special blessing.
