i thought the announcers said it would be scored as team rushing -70 or whatever it was....but i didn't see it scored as anything in the box score. i assume it counted against the total yardage though.

help?

It went down as -41 yards rush attempt I think.

Yep, the punt was -42 and Bradford sack was -8.

that's what i'd think, but it doesn't show in the box here. you'd think it would be "team rushing" or "Cohen", -41....i don't see it in the rushing stats. Bradford is listed at 2 rushes for -5. so, that's there.

Well, the Soonersports one lists it as "TEAM rushing"

It must be team rushing. That's why we only showed something like 20 yards rushing in the first half. That threw me when I saw it because I know AP had 23 yards on his first 2 carries.

yeah, we had negative rushing yards after that play

that's correct. the yahoo box just doesn't score it, though it seems to count against total O.

It counted against the total rushing stats, which is pretty stupid IMO

Cohen should've just let Miami recover it so that it wouldn't have counted against our yardage totals. Why aren't our players coached better?

Should of done a FERGUSON and kicked or thrown it out of the endzone.Would have cost us 2 instead of 3.On the free kick Hartley would have boomed it back to the UM 20 at least and they ain't going 80 against OU on this day.

I can see that, but it only cost us 3 and we got the ball back vs. the free kick to them.

The way those guys were closing in on him, Cohen didn't have time to do much of anything. It looked like he had lead in his shoes. If he would've tried to kick it, he might've pulled off a stunt like that ISU kicker and just left it spinning in the endzone.

As much as it sucked to have that bad snap, it really let our defense make a statement.
