Does anyone know when the band started wearing the black pouch with OU on it...

i think the newish black trim on a lot of OU's stuff (cheerleaders, wrestling team, some other of the non-revenure sports) really sucks. it sucked when Nebraska did it in the mid-90's and it still sucks.

Crimson *and* Cream. all you need.

ya I do not really like the black pouch either... it takes away from the greatness of the crimson and cream

It is to hold the rain poncho. It is actually a great idea. That way your poncho doesn't ride down your leg and out the bottom the pant hole, but they only wear the black bags on days with a threat of rain.

Heh. Seriously, the only place we used to have to put the rain ponchos was in the front of our pants. There was a lot of slippage, unless you had a prehensile wang.

yes. and so does half of the english department.
