So far the bears defense has handled LT. Dusty D and Tommy H are having a great day.

I really hate watching Chicago on offense vs San Diego.

Rex Grossman has to be the WORST QB in the history of the game.

This is a QB competition that Joey Harrington might win!

Rex Grossman = horrible is a understatement. Lovie Smith and the Bears management should be fired for not finding a QB during the offseason.

I'll take Grossman over Harrington.

Right now, at least.

OMG Tomie just got to Rivers before he could hand off the ball.

Brian Griese needs to play NOW. Or Kyle Orton. Bring up Chris Leak from the practice squad, I don't care. Just get Rexy outta there.

Recovery by Harris.

But that was an absolutely horrible no call. He was CLEARLY offsides and that should be reviewable.

There ought to a linejudge who gets suspended over this BS.

And Tommie forces a fumble at his own 1. A VERY nice play.

He was offsides though.

Heh, Heh. Damn that was a quick blast by Tommie Harris causing the SD fumble. whew. Rivers is losing it.

His own version of the Roy Williams superman move.

So one whorn (Benson) fumbles setting up SD. Another whorn (Vashar) moves them closer and a Sooner has to clean up the mess.

the more I see that replay, the more I wonder if TH was just off on the movement of the ball. Reminds of offensive lineman Greg Roberts for OU...he moved right on the movement of the ball, and got called for illegal motion man y times for it.

Well, the ball would have had to move first.

I think he was anticipating the snap count with the understanding that an offsides penalty in that situation wouldn't hurt them that much. As it was, he got away with one. ;)

Did you ever see Mark Malone or Babe Laufenberg play? :D

The Chargers were holding big time on that last run by LT.

The Chargers are now realizing that they can hold on every play and are being more than obvious about it and the officials have yet to throw a flag.

Grossman wasn't as bad as he normally is.

Benson and TFAD were awful.

Methinks that the Bears will be regretting that Thomas Jones trade

Any Bears fans/Sooner fans,

Did the Bears even TRY to trade for a real QB to put them over the top? Or were they so focused on trying to screw Lovie Smith over that they forget about addressing this painfully obvious need?

Seriously...

The Bears have a defense...that is all.

Any Bears fans/Sooner fans,

Did the Bears even TRY to trade for a real QB to put them over the top? Or were they so focused on trying to screw Lovie Smith over that they forget about addressing this painfully obvious need? Lovie made it known he wanted to stick with Rex. I don't think anyone really understand it.

And the Bears are such tightwads about money that I don't see them going after a bigtime QB - they'll just have to draft one.

Rexy has one year left on his contract anyway.

If Rex would just get it together between the ears, they'd be good again. They also ran against one of the top 3 teams in the NFL. They'll look a LOT better against KC next week.

Well the problem with "they can't move it because the Chargers are good" argument pretty much rules you out of Super Bowl contention I mean the bears don't even need a good qb. They need a qb who doesn't make a lot of mistakes who takes what the defenses get. Hell give them a Mark Brunell and I think they are MUCH better. Rex Grossman's problem is that he can single handledly get the Bears beat by being a dumbass

tommieharris91

Luckily, the Bears don't play in the same conference as the top 3 (maybe top 5) NFL teams. This, of course, gives them a shot at getting their asses handed to them in the Super Bowl again this year.

That and TFAD ain't Thomas Jones. Ohh, and Ced needs to hang on to those TVs... err footballs better.
