ph found out about the Surprise Party I was planning for his birthday. :(

The little stinker (not the actual term I used yesterday) couldn't understand my "obsession" with cleaning up the backyard, recovering the patio furniture and other tasks I was trying to get done.

Needless to say, I was running out of silly *** excuses as to why I ordered 10 pink flamingos, why I demanded the back yard get done THIS weekend and why I was staying up till 2:00 every night (trying to get decorations finished), acting TOTALLY way out there and yada... yada... yada... so the beans were spilled and he knows everything.

I'm not sure who feels worse now, me for letting the secret out or ph for demanding that I spill the beans....

FWIW... I've threatened him with his manhood if he doesn't give the "Surprised Look" performance of a lifetime the night of his party. He's threatening to "fake a heart attack" for good measure.

Good Lord! What have I gotten myself into?!?!?! :D

I'm not trying to disparage anything, but seems to me if you discuss buying 10 pink flamingos on a forum that someone can see....it's not really going to be a surprise. But that's just me.

I posted the flamingo thing after he found out about them.

I totally suk at lying and panicked trying to figure out an excuse as to why I bought them. Wanting to put them in the garden was the only thing I could think of.
