on the radio today. If you listen to the stadium feed on 87.5 FM, you also would have heard him chewing out Trent Smith during a timeout in the 3rd quarter.

Kinda sad, really. Great game though!

Chewing him out for what?

Something Trent said during his conversation with Keith Jackson. Barry yelled at him and told him not to do it again. It was strange, but then again, so is Bob Barry.

Trent was talking over the first part of Zaslaw's touchdown. At break Bob chewed him out for taking his air time and said "don't talk during a touchdown, it bugs the heck out of people", I assume by people he meant himself.

Bob Barry is terrible and should be taken off the radio. He always gets players names wrong and is the worst announcer I have ever heard.

On ESPN radio up here, they were asking the question "Is OU the best team in the NCAA right now?"...part of their discussion were radio play calls from "The Legendary Bob Barry Sr."

When they said that, my wife looked at me and said "I lost my hot dog Merv"

What was funnier was when they played the "OG&E Power Play of the Game" in the stadium, the call came out... "Fumble! Recovered by Miami.... Touchdown OU!"

It reminded me of the time Heupel threw a swing pass to Hollis Price for a touchdown back in 2004, man that Tommy Lasorda can sure coach!

Slob Ferry just needs to go away...

I respect Bob and his career, but there comes a time that if you don't honorably retire, you need to be shown the retirement papers, Bob has passed into being shown the retirement papers all filled out with only his signature required...
