I don't know what to think about Nebraska. Wake Forest did win the ACC last year, and the game was in...wherever Wake Forest is. But I just can't get too excited about the Bugeaters. How did that Keller guy do against USC when he was at Arizona State? Does anybody think he'll do any better next week?

Get excited about them? I lived in Omaha for 3 years and discovered that nothing is more entertaining (except pictures of T Boone) than a losing Nebraska team. I think they're better than anyone else in the north, but I can't wait for them to stumble. I'm just a jerk like that.

Thing to remember is that Nebraska was playing in a classic trap game this week. The USC game next week is all people have been talking about all fall, and Nebraska had to go play a wonky team in the cracker box stadium. The last three years NU loses this game, but NU did enough to win despite being flat emotionally. Next week, NU will be riding a huge wave of emotion when USC comes to town. For better of worse, NU will look a lot different next week.
