I think it's quite possible when you look at all the talent on both sides of the ball. We are loaded. And I think I can safely say that we're not that worried about Bradford any more. This team is ridiculous.

It maybe.

If our inside running game was better, I would tend to agree but we need to work on that.

yeah, we need to average better than 4.6 yards a carry.

We gotta win the NC and go undefeated first.

Yeah, of course it's only the start of the season, but this team has some serious potential.

Ill let you know where I stand on this subject in January of 08.
We need to win it all and keep playing like we are right now.

But we got alot of those yards on stretches and bounces to the outside.

Man, I'd rather not jump on that "best team" conclusion yet.

In 2003(?) when we were dominating with Jason White, we got jinxed at Big XII by Kansas State. We were touted as the best OU team ever until that point.

OU was a bit cocky, too before NC against USC.

By then the year will be over, and you will have spent your time being negative..... but, that's for you to decide, everyone has their own road. Mine is full of rainbows and candycanes.:)

I will pass also. Just go out week in and week out and get it done. Stay low key and the wins will come. Then we might get a re-match with the MEN OF TROY :D

Didn't we lose 40 on one play? That should hurt the average.

Ooo that reminds me. Check out this scenario (which I don't think will happen):
LSU, USC, and OU all go undefeated. :pop:

it would be USC-LSU i since they were 1-2 in the preseason. we'd be out like Auburn in 04. LSU will lose at some point in the SEC i think.

I can't believe that this thread has even been started after only the second game. But it is interesting.

I'll be shocked if USC goes undefeated. Oregon routed Michigan and Washington is good and ASU will only get better under Erickson.

Anyone else convinced ND's firing of Tyrone Willingham was the most idiotic thing ever.

Some of the posters around here proclaim a meal the "best ever" before they even take the wrapper off the burger.

true...Besides You can't say this team is the best. We have no title yet! Stoops best team 2000.

Um, maybe Michigan's just that bad. And BSU is overrated.

And now that this thread has been started, we'll be lucky to win any of our remaining games. Bad juju, this thread is.

I agree Michigan is bad But that bad?
LSU will have to probably beat Florida twice as well

2000 is the best under Stoops period. This team definately has potential, so will next year's if they don't jump to the NFL. But to earn the title of best, they've got to go undefeated and win it all.........and do it impressively. Remember the 00 unit beat 2 number 1 teams back-to-back. That was impressive.

Dude. they lost to Oregon AND Appalachian State. They succs. I think that loss says far more about Michigan than about Oregon.

well losing Henne to injury doesn't help them. The fact that Mike Hart has been running on a bad leg in both games this season doesn't really help. And the fact that no Lloyd Carr coached team can stop a team with a spread offense/running capable quarterback definitely doesn't help. They've been calling for his head since the Ohio State loss last year, losing the next 3 doesn't help...however the good news is that Notre Dame runs a conventional offense, so it fits more to Michigan's playing style....depending on how hurt Henne is.

Oregon will in typical Oregon fashion lose to Stanford or Arizona in some inexplicable manner.
