What would you post if this forum had been available October 18, 1985, the day before Miami's last trip to Norman?

Not sure about that. It would be witty if less than enlightening.

I do recall being seated on a criminal jury in OKC during my senior year at OU after the football regular season but before the OB v. miami. I was asked several routine questions by the lawyers, my major, etc. the defense attourney had but one question: were the Sooners going to win? I answered that I was betting on it. I was disappointed that my answer did not disqualify me from service.

I think we would be extremely confident. I don't think anyone even considered that we might lose to Miami.

I woulda been talking the same crimson tinted glasses crap I was talking then in my school newspaper and to my friends and whoever would listen. Difference is, back then I was a little nervous inside. Today I have no jitters and no doubts...we're gonna whip their asses so bad they'll think WE are the hurricane.
