(CBS4) SAN DIEGO - Airlines dictate how big your bags can be and how much toothpaste you can bring on board. Now they're even telling you how to dress, according to one woman.
Kyla Ebbert says she was escorted off a Southwest Airlines flight two months ago because a flight attendant thought her outfit was inappropriate.
The 23-year-old college student and Hooters waitress was wearing a white denim miniskirt, high-heel sandals, and a turquoise summer sweater over a tank top over a bra.
Ebbert says that after she had taken her seat, a flight attendant asked her to come out into the jetway and asked her to change.
She refused to change and they eventually let her back on. But only on the condition that she pull her tank top up and pull her skirt down a bit. She also covered herself with a blanket.
Southwest says it has to make sure everyone on board is comfortable, and it deals with complaints in a "discreet and professional manner."
Ebbert is said to be considering a lawsuit.
Me thinks that someone was jealous.

Whoever complained should have been put off the flight instead.
If she pulls her tank top up would it not pull her skirt up? or if she pulls her skirt down would'nt it pull her tank top down? Interesting.....the problems Hooter chicks encounter.

I saw that, too? I thought it was strange? The only thing I can figure out was she wasn't wearing any panties? They never asked on the Today Show, and they never mentioned exactly what SWA issues were specifically? :pop:

I just don't get the problem. I've seen many women dressed with less than that on different flights and no one says a thing to them. I thought the outfit looked just fine.
