Just in time for the holiday season.

That's still a lot for a phone though.

Does the iPhone work well or is there a lot of problems with it.

The new nano is the ugliest POS that I've ever seen.

I hate girth.

The only complaints I've heard on the iphone are:

1) You can't replace the battery yourself.

2) When you don't have WiFi access, it doesn't have 3G cellular internet. It only has Cingular/AT&T's Edge network.

3) The on screen keyboard takes some getting used to.

If you had some girth, I imagine most the problems you've posted about wouldn't exist. ;)

set-

$349. They're available for order through Apple.com already. In fact, I ordered one this afternoon, then thought better of it.

I still have a 20gb 2nd gen iPod with the 4 buttons on the top - think it's time for an upgrade.

Nice PR move by Jobs.

And it looks like somehow my order didn't get cancelled and I have a 160 GB iPod on the way. FedEx just e-mailed me and said it left Shanghai...

People, listen to reason for a second -

By the time you buy a new one of these, it will be obsolete and a cooler one will be out and the one you bought will be hundreds cheaper.

Just get a little iPod shuffle with a clip. You know you don't want to watch videos on a tiny screen (just think how big your television is). You know you're going to set your iPod to "shuffle" once you start using it anyway so you're not fiddling with music every two minutes. You know you're going to be ****ed when your little gizmo isn't the coolest gizmo anymore in a few months.

Good thinking. In fact, you should never buy any sort of technology, because it will be cheaper in the future when new, cooler stuff comes out.

I'm thinking of selling my 5g iPod for a 3g nano, but I'm not sure how much to ask for it. It's in perfect condition aside from a very small hair sized scratch on one side of the screen but I don't know how much that would sell for.

Just have a little discipline.

When you decide you want to buy something, wait two weeks. If you still want it, then buy it.

Since they came out almost two months ago, I think you're a little late.
