What happened with Austin Box? I do not recall anything about him in camp nor is he listed anywhere on the depth chart. Redshirt? Anybody?

Yea, i was expecting him to play by at least the 3rd quarter this past Saturday.

There was somebody out on the field towards the end of the game without a name on his jersey and I can't remember the number. Could that have been him?

It is just strange that such a highly regarded recruit is not talked about much. Especially that he is home grown.

I'll buy the redshirt idea. Our linebackers looked very sharp, in the right place at the right time, etc. Saw Box in some of the practice videos they post on Soonersports.com. He's too good of an athlete to keep off the field in that kind of game unless he's redshirting.

I've been thinking Box would make a great part-time fullback, does that sound stupid?
