crutches=torture device

i have a pretty bad ankle sprain and have spent the last 3 days, icing the ankle, watching DVD's and football, shuffling winamp....to the point where i'm so sick of not doing anything it's unreal.

i took the crutches out to the grocery store today.....man, my armpits are killing me. give me the pain Velcro strapped boot any day (luckily i have one).

and just so you know, Velcro is misspelled if it's not capitalized, apparently.

It is a bit amazing that we've come up with ways to bolt on replacement arms and legs, as well as replace parts of bones to fix joints, yet we're still using crutches.

I got pretty nifty on them back in 8th grade. had a badly broken leg with cast to the hip.
I would challenge myself to answer our phone in the hallway by the second ring.:D
