Michigan is actually ranked ahead of Miami if you extend the poll.

Unpossible! Georgia only moved up one place after beating The World's Greatest Offense? I guessed they'd be about #3.

I guess Boone couldn't buy Gundy a vote in the coach's poll. Eastern Michigan, Middle Tenn.State, Kent State, Miami Ohio, Troy, Western Michigan, Florida International, Northern Illinois, but no Aggie vote. Seems kind of strange. Do you only get so many coach's votes per conference? I could really care less, but WTH don't they just give all the coaches a vote. All this is done by computer, anyway.
The USA TODAY Board of Coaches is made up of 60 head coaches at Division I-A institutions. All are members of the American Football Coaches Association. This season's board: Frank Beamer, Virginia Tech; Mike Bellotti, Oregon; Bret Bielema, Wisconsin; Larry Blakeney, Troy; Bobby Bowden, Florida State; Tommy Bowden, Clemson; Jeff Bower, Southern Mississippi; Art Briles, Houston; Mack Brown, Texas; Bill Callahan, Nebraska; Neil Callaway, UAB; Lloyd Carr, Michigan; Mario Cristobal, Florida International; Sylvester Croom, Mississippi State; Bill Cubit, Western Michigan; Mark Dantonio, Michigan State; Butch Davis, North Carolina; Bill Doba, Washington State; Randy Edsall, Connecticut; Dennis Franchione, Texas A&M; Phillip Fulmer, Tennessee; Jeff Genyk, Eastern Michigan; Joe Glenn, Wyoming; Jim Grobe, Wake Forest; Dan Hawkins, Colorado; Pat Hill, Fresno State; Steve Kragthorpe, Louisville; Mike Leach, Texas Tech; Rocky Long, New Mexico; Sonny Lubick, Colorado State; Bill Lynch, Indiana; Doug Martin, Kent State; Les Miles, LSU; Shane Montgomery, Miami (Ohio); Hal Mumme, New Mexico State; Joe Novak, Northern Illinois; Houston Nutt, Arkansas; Tom O'Brien, North Carolina State; George O'Leary, Central Florida; Gary Patterson, TCU; Chris Petersen, Boise State; Mark Richt, Georgia; Mike Riley, Oregon State; Rich Rodriguez, West Virginia; Greg Schiano, Rutgers; Howard ***************, Florida Atlantic; Mark Snyder, Marshall; Frank Solich, Ohio; Steve Spurrier, South Carolina; Rick Stockstill, Middle Tennessee State; Bob Stoops, Oklahoma; Jeff Tedford, California; Joe Tiller, Purdue; Bob Toledo, Tulane; Dick Tomey, San Jose State; Jim Tressel, Ohio State; Tommy Tuberville, Auburn; Charlie Weis, Notre Dame; Tyrone Willingham, Washington; Ron Zook, Illinois.

Miami is unranked because they went 7-6 last year and have one of the worst QB's in the BCS Conferences.

People, Ken Dorsey and Michael Irvin aren't going to be on that field Saturday...stop worrying so damn much. Yes, solid defense, but that offense is NOT moving the ball on us. Period.

Good for the voters (among them are probably some coaches, but mostly SIDs I'm sure) to have the courage not to vote Michigan up at all. I worried there'd be too much of the retarded defending of their initial vote at play. That is, to vote them down now reinforces their overratedness in the first place.

And Texas drops below us for that pathetic performance. This may be the highest those fools are ranked all year.

When was the last time a team ranked 5th, lost a game and was totally dropped from the pole. Michigan fell off the map.

good to see Texass gets the same treatment as we did last year by squeaking by a scrub team. 6th is a good spot & we're only 37 points from 5th.

Michigan fell off the map. It's going to be interesting to see how ABC spins the Michigan/Oregon afternoon showcase game Saturday since they're not ranked. There's no other games worth a damn in that ABC afternoon time slot except Michigan /Oregon.

I hope Michigan roasts the Ducks.

I'm over that loss, but the lingering ill wishes are still quite strong, thankyouverymuch.
