Ok, it's Sunday now, guys!

As noted in other threads, PT and Birdine were cut from Green Bay yesterday (Saturday). Now onto the other teams...

Chicago Bears: Mark Bradley is still on the team! As is Dvoracek and Tommie. JD's a practice squad hopeful.

Baltimore Ravens: Chris Chester and Mark Clayton are still Ravens, as is 7-year vet Corey Ivey. Dan Cody's on the injured list.

Dallas Cowboys: ROY WILLIAMS! Oh really??? I half expected a bunch of cheering, considering the game yesterday, whenever they had a video of him...

Houston Texans: I thought it would be interesting to note that NCAA coverboy Jared Zabransky was cut Friday. Now maybe they'll stop showing that clip over and over...

Minnesota Vikings: Rufus will be out with injury, but both he and AD are on the roster, but of course :)

Ok, if anyone else has updates, I'd love to hear them.

Akin Ayodele (http://www.nfl.com/players/akinayodele/profile?id=AYO148317) was cut, Remi is not listed in cuts on the NFL.com transactions (http://www.nfl.com/teams/dallascowboys/transactions?team=DAL).

I just checked DallasCowboys.com and saw the cut, I guess NFL.com hasn't been updated. He was on the practice squad last season, I am not sure if he can go back on it.

The Ravens recently signed Gregg to a big contract (for him) so I think he is still there.

Brandon Jones has stepped up for the Titans this year and is now our #1 receiver. He is gonna make a big impact for us.

Titans- "After recovering from a torn right anterior cruciate ligament suffered in 2005, Jones was voted by his teammates the winner of the 2006 Ed Block Courage Award for his fortitude while playing in all 16 games last season. An explosive wideout with big play potential, Jones was Vince Young’s favorite redzone target posting a team-high four touchdown receptions and a total of 27 receptions for 384 yards. In 2005, Jones was one of the Titans brightest rookies before his season ended abruptly due to injury. Jones was part of a rookie group of receivers (Courtney Roby, Bo Scaife and Roydell Williams) that each recorded 20 or more receptions, making them the first since the 1968 Buffalo Bills. He totaled 23 receptions for 299 yards with two touchdowns and returned five punts for 75 yards."

I've never understood how such talented Sooners could do so well in college and, by and large, not fare well in the NFL.

Garrett Mills was cut by NE.

Not OU but he was a favorite of the Tulsa folk.

I picked him up late in my FF draft today. I saw him in a pre-season game on NFLN and they seemed to be talking about him doing well. Figured he was worth the late pick.

In case you were wondering. I was.

The Packers currently have four players on their practice squad, one under the league maximum. Each player earns the minimum weekly salary of $3,650 and -- as is the custom around the league -- practice squad players rarely make more than that. That means a practice squad player's base salary is generally $62,050, less than half of what a rookie on an NFL roster makes.
